She doesn't have a tour to promote or a new album to promote or anything to speak of. Her manager should have just turned down the invitation to present the award. The promo for Hotel had already started and promo for the upcoming fifth season ran during the Emmy commercial time...commercials which heavily highlighted Gaga. Well, she went to promote Versace I remember that mess. Gaga later said she didn't even wanna be there. People are bringing too much ofc since it's Katy. I'm just glad she didn't try to steal the show or anything, acting like she was the real event. She showed up looking pretty, did some pleasant interviews, presented the award and went home. I understand that there are valid questions about why Katy was there but there is absolutely no need to shade her. I won't name names. When Gaga was at one of her lowest points in her career and every fanbase was dissing her left and right you all screamed "spread online kindness" and got into fights defending her. Now that Gaga's on top again you're doing exactly the same thing you were trying to defend Gaga from. If she saw the way you were talking about Katy or other artists I would imagine she would be supremely disappointed that her message of kindness has gone right over our heads. ¿Tú me estás hablando en inglés? Wrong, she was contractually slated to appear alongside Donatella Versace and Nolan Funk, being face of the Spring 2014 campaign. And she's said before that she didn't want to go and basically threw something on at the last minute really because Donatella had asked her to.
