NE Thing 1,459
At first, I was (and still am) devastated about the recent death of David Bowie. But, from listening to Blackstar once again, and reading many different things - I have concluded something really heartbreaking. He knew he would die soon. Listen to songs like Blackstar and I Can't Give Everything Away, and it really speaks to you - and you see the song in a whole new way. So, I feel that it would've been amazing if he could've done two final shows, just as a farewell. Voltaire 4,531
OP, there is nothing disrespectful about your thread. I have no idea what is going on with some of the members here and claiming "too soon" to discuss an Icon. When we lose someone, we all express that loss in different ways. Wanting to speak about him, his music, his art, and a potential future that can no longer be is all entirely fine. It's fine. Everything in your thread is respectful.
