Should Gaga pay tribute to Bowie during the Grammys?

Well she's gonna do that futuristic god knows what thingy with Intel, but knowing her, she may want to honour Bowie first and foremost. In what ways can she do both at the same time?

I think she should do that, if she have the needs to do that, in her own time instead of a giant event.

I feel like that would be.. inappropriate to say the least. I mean, she was accused multiple times of blatantly stealing from David's career and David never interacted with her or gave his support for her if you know what I mean. And of course his "I guess some folk see what they want to see though." statement about a collab convinced some news sites he actually doesn't like her :air:

So that's a no thanks for me. I feel like it would cause a discussion about whether or not she should've done it in the media etc. and I wouldn't want that to overshadow what the tribute is actually for.

I expect she'll say a few words or something but I really want to see what this Intel thing is :flutter:

I'm sure there's no need for her specifically to do the tribute.

I think she should, but there's a big chance that she won't be asked to do it since it might overshadow the Intel performance.

I think Madonna and Gaga are the offspring of David Bowie so I think it would be proper to tribute him.

P.S. OMG i have a picture now!?!?!?!

I honestly don't think she should. It's not because of that other performance, but because it would be far too difficult for her emotionally. He was her absolute hero, and I can't even begin to imagine how devastated she must be right now. I just feel it would be far too soon for her.

Usually performances are ordered by the Grammy.

But I guess Grammy will do tribute, I mean, Bowie was huge.

Gaga might be asked to do it. I hope so at least.

If she feels comfortable, then I think she is the only popular artist to do so.

The Grammy's will tribute him, and I don't know another artist that could do it appropriately.

There really is no male pop star that is known to be a rule breaker in any vein similar to Bowie currently, and the females in the game just wouldn't do it justice. Adele, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, The Weeknd....none of those stars are weird or inventive enough. Only Gaga is.

No.

She praised him so many times with many kind words while telling what a huge inspiration was for her and he never acknowledged her.

I feel like Adam Lambert would be a good choice for a Bowie tribute. He's sung Bowie songs before on various occasions. In fact to honor him Adam tweeted the link to a vid of him singing "Let's Dance"
