Such a legend... So hard to believe... May he rest in peace. And he just released a new album, Blackstar... :(

Do your own research.

When my mum told me I thought it was a hoax. Big fan of his music, it was part of my childhood growing up. The world has lost a true legend. RIP David Bowie.

This is so heartbreaking. My mom used to play his songs when I was a kid. I basically grew up listening to his music. :(

Finally feeling free for the night, I got no worries. Finally got a claim on my life, baby, c'est la vie. ☄️

This is horrible. ugh when people like this die, it reminds you of ur mortality. R.I.P. to one of this first creative visionaries in the industry.

I'm still actually in denial and I feel really sick right now. I want to go home but I'm actually at work (I work night shift) and I'm the only one at my workplace so things are really weird for me right now.

Her name LITERALLY comes from one of his songs "Radio Gaga"

Bowie is a GIANT GIANT GIANT influence on her. If not THE biggest.

Radio Gaga is from the band Queen

Oh no this is so sad :(. Rest in Peace.

It's really strange because before today I had only ever seen him in his movie Labyrinth and didn't really know him or his music. Earlier today I decided to look him up on a whim and read all about him. I watched his music video for "Blackstar" and read that the director said he may have been contemplating his own mortality in it. I may not have known much of his work, but what I did know I really enjoyed, and I was impressed he was still putting out new work and looking forward to more. It's just strange that I would start to learn about him and his work for the first time on the day he died.
