Tbh i always felt

BTW and ARTPOP were incomplete always even though they are amazing in their own ways

TF and TFM are way more solid than the other two and by that i mean more cohesive in terms of sound

TFM was made in 6 months, much time super quality huh

Well, I think that's a weird statement. We all know she didn't write it to be an album, she just wrote and recorded those songs by herself, for her own fun while she was on tour. I'm 100% sure that's why she enjoyed finishing it so much: there was zero pressure and Interscope didn't even know about it.

I am VERY happy to read that she views The Fame and TFM as the pinnacle of her work and that is what she tries to recapture. So here for that again.

She did also call ARTPOP her third record before, I believe.
She said people always come for you with the third album or something. So technically she could also mean The Fame (Monster) + Born This Way.

Agree with the OP.

I think its important for fans to understand that the way she views her work compared to how she views her potential for that same work is different than shading it.

You still have every right to love an album that she didn't feel fit the full potential in her mind. The great thing about Gaga is, even at her most rushed or her-own-personal-mediocre, she creates fantastic music that people love.

Somehow, Born This Way and ARTPOP remain the Gaga albums I love the most. :yay:

Except that she used LG5 on Twitter and specifically said she considered TFM to be a standalone album when it was released :gaycat:

She could still have said that people always come for you with the third album because technically, TFM was sold as an EP or as part of the re-release. But that's never how she felt, lbr.

She referred to her next album as LG5 before and confirmed she views TFM as a separate body of work, let's not start this again after Gaga herself spoke on the matter...

It's not weird, because she got Telephone for the album :awkney: I love it, but it's her most generic work to date. (I hate the word basic, because it is not basic and because people here call "basic" songs to songs that are clichés). Bad Romance was intended to be her 1st single off TFM (another hint it was made on purpose) and ALSO, the most annoying fight ever: Interscope/GP calling it an EP and fans considering it an album (it's so obvious that Interscope wanted a reedition of that album once it got popular).

OT-for me,BTW is her best album,so i don't understand why she said it was rushed.but yes, after all the things she's been doing lately,i feel that LG5 will be a quality album with much more deeper themes like human connections and stuff like that :green:

She's completely right. BTW and ARTPOP are step backs from her first two albums. Especially ARTPOP. Nothing she has done has ever come remotely close in terms of quality to her second album; The Fame Monster. She's finally seeing the light :applause:

Honestly, every letter of this

She has explained the Telephone thing more than once. She wanted that song on the album, so bad that she went through hell trying to get it. So that doesn't sway me.

I don't remember the Bad Romance mention that way. All I know is that Gaga gave the impression that she just wrote songs on tour and Interscope found out, heard them and just said: "This is your new album!". It's still possible, I guess, that Gaga knew that Bad Romance should be the first single of her new era, before Interscope actually shaped TFM as an album. Who knows, maybe Gaga wanted more songs in the beginning?

I don't get your last point. Gaga herself fought Interscope and made sure that the album was also sold separately and she made it very clear that she considered it to be a standalone album.
