Versace 7,971 Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 WOW i'm sure i'm not the only one who's thought of this so we just got news that Gaga isn't debuting new material at the grammies but rather a performance piece with intel on Feb 15 we know that Gaga is almost certain to perform TIHTY on the Oscars which are Feb 28 2015 Gaga cannot debut new material when she has an intel project and an Oscar performance to focus on first Gaga's turning 30 which is major turning point for many people in their lives as they complete their third decade Gaga's Birthday is March 28th 2016 which happens to be a MONDAY the perfect day for a lead single release and what better way than to release your lead single off your brand new era , remember Gaga said that ARTPOP is the "end of the beginning". LG5 is not just Gaga's 5th album but in some senses is her next debut album and her first from her 30's. Not convinced From the Billboard article “My birthday is in March, so these are the last moments of my 20s. I already mourned that in a way, and now I’m really excited about showing girls, and even men, what it can mean to be a woman in her 30s. Why is it that we’re disposing of people once they pass that mark? It’s suddenly, ‘You’re an old woman.’ I’m not f---ing old. I’m more sexual and powerful and intelligent and on my **** than I’ve ever been. I’ve come a long way through a lot of heartache and pain, but none of it made me damaged goods. It made me a fighter. I want to show women they don’t need to try to keep up with the 19-year-olds and the 21-year-olds in order to have a hit. Women in music, they feel like they need to f---ing sell everything to be a star. It’s so sad. I want to explode as I go into my 30s." i think this says it all We know LG5 is 90% confirmed to be due in 2016 so please stop with 2017 remarks We know Q4 is a horrible time for Gaga , Bey and Katy are due then and i even think her management knows that. Don't lose hope just cause you predicted a Feb grammy debut of LG5's start/ Lead Single Tbh Birthday release makes way more sense now than a Grammy debut I stand by March 28 LG5 single release date and album in Summer of 2016 before September surely Thoughts ? The birthday date is also just completely random. I mean.. sure, it makes sense but from a management perspective it's meaningless. What would the benefit be of releasing it on that day other than to make a symbolic statement that no one will even get? Also, you ignored the statement of Bobby saying that they'd release the album when it was exactly right, based on the circumstances and the public demand. Well in some senses ARTPOP was the next phase of her career where she puts her artistry first and she did up to today she's been honoring her artistic views. I'd rather take Gaga's word this time that the year 30 will mean a lot to her and something is bound to happen on her birthday. I get that from a management perspective it may seem meaningless but clearly she's busy beforehand with other projects. To me Gaga is setting up something as soon as she turns 30 , she said "i want to explode" i doubt an explosion is something non-music related in the case of Gaga. And don't forget that Bobby likes to also base management on Gaga's artistic desires and not only from a commercial stand point besides i think there is enough demand, if her team waits till Q4 her demand will be 0 as the attention would be shifted to Katy and Bey both being american sweethearts. What makes more sense however is Bobby's plan: to release it when it's the right time I mean, Gaga's statements about exploding in her 30's are obviously about more than just releasing her album on her ****ing birthday She doesn't need that birthday release date to do what she wants related to women in music in their 30's etc. If you were right, the release date would already be set and Bobby would never have said what he said about 2016 and the way they plan releases.
