I hope not. It's pretty basic (as a set-up, the performance in itself is gorgeous).

Gaga herself has performances that top this imo, most notably her performance at the BRITs in tribute to Alexander McQueen. Not everyone has the conceptual balls to perform next to a giant statue of themselves.

But the performance that wins is Dance in the Dark @ MB 2.0. A piece of jaw-dropping conceptual, philosophical genius.

(And the performance that would've won if MTV had more conceptual balls would've been Applause @ the 2013 VMA's.)

but in this the dali references are strong and well played. I agree that the BRIT tribute is a strong competitor.

I like it but Speechless @ the AMAs is better. You can tell she wanted Speechless as a single tbh

I still hear "Raise a glass to mend all the broken hearts of all my rectal friends" :rip:

Excuse me? :rip:

Is this just about the piano legs? 'cause I'm not entirely convinced that that was a Dali reference. And even if it was, it's still one, not multiple.

it clearly was, she said herself that dalì is one of her inspirator, and she did it multiple times

Hmm, now that I see it on thàt pic of the performance, you convinced me. I knew about the other examples, but I just didn't remember the piano legs had such a distinct shape to them.

Nice :flutter:

the elephants for dalì are symbol of strenght, violence and temptation so it fits.
