It's a crime "Fashion" (2009) was never on a Gaga album

I stan so hard for this tune. It deserves so much more recognition that it receives. Not sure where it would have fit on her albums at the time, but I hate that it's been essentially forgotten. It's one of the standouts of her early tracks. Her and RedOne at their finest.

I LOVE that she performed it live on the first leg of Monster Ball!! Proof that she knows how great it is!

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

It's basically an autobiographical "manifesto" of her early "outlandish" attire. She's putting a stake in the ground to remind people that her looks are fashion, not costume. And the pop production is just ---- fire!!! This song is everything!

Totally would have felt at home on The Fame, no debate about it. Sometimes in my weaker moments I secretly wished it was on the album instead of "I Like It Rough" :ohno:

Yes!!! That would be the perfect slot for it. I love ILIR but would easily trade it for Fashion.

Always loved this song. It's in the top 10, if not top 5 to me. (Among her work of course.)

Yes!!! It's #13 on my ranking of favorite Gaga tunes:

Agreed! ILR isn't as worthy to me.

I love this song too. Kind of forgot that it existed a little bit tbh. It probably would've gone quite well on The Fame.

I like to listen to ILIR every now and then but the song doesn't rank very high for me. I don't know why, but it never really did. Though I did sort of liked it a little more during the height of the The Fame days.

I don't see why they couldn't have included it on The Fame or The Fame Monster, for that matter.  It's a travesty that Fashion was not included in her early discography because that song slays so hard!

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Fortunately, it was commercially released in the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack, but yes, it could've been released on an album. It and vanity could've easily been on an album together.

I honestly think Gaga has had to have a few releases that came from nowhere due to her career beig thrown fast balls. I believe the Fame Monster would've been a different album if the Fame Kills tour wasn't canceled and Born This Way may have been different if she hadn't pressured himself to release it by announcing it at the VMAs.
