Forget how "good" the songs may be, the overall message was amazing. An album where it's main focus is about love and acceptance? Who could ask for more? me Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?
E24187 615
BTW (the song) should've never been a single, despite it being her biggest hit. TBH, TEOG should've been the lead single. That would've changed the perception of the album. BTW (the album) and ARTPOP suffered from poor single choices.
Bradley 59,023
I feel like sometimes fans put too much pressure on Interscope. Clearly none of us here are within their team. While Gaga's artistry is important, it's not wrong to ask Gaga to compromise a little bit with them. If Interscope thinks a song will not do well as a single, despite Gaga wanting it to be released, it would be unfair to Interscope who invests money and effort into the song. At the end of the day, their motives are based concerning Gaga's success and future budgets for her upcoming projects after all.

ARTPOP didn't suffer from poor single choices, ARTPOP suffered from insufficient promotion. Do What U Want achieved moderate success because it lacked a music video, that's beyond decent actually, to have the song peaked at #13 on Hot 100 and certified platinum. G.U.Y. was well-received among fans but Gaga didn't perform the song at anywhere at all apart from David Letterman's show.

VOLANTIS 16,396
I'm sure there are hardcore Lady Gaga Fans who hate her whole Discography. "I am such a Fan of Lady Gaga. Ugh but I can't stand her song choices at all. If only she made songs I personally liked. If only she catered for me and me only" There are people who cant stand her artistic imagery at all. There are people who puke at the slight mention of Lady Gaga. we call them Haters. Yes gur You is Jealous. You is a Hater. I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
