Who is Your Favorite Star Wars Female Character?

I did not see captain phasma yet since I did not see The Force Awakens but my fav is Shmi Skywalker.

Shmi reminded of my mother when I recently watched Phantom Menace hence the reason why she is my favorite. Her attitude towards Anakin's leaving her for a better future reminded of my mother's attitude towards me leaving my country to go to university overseas. She did not want her one and only son to go away but did not show any negativity to affect his son's decision for his future which was a very loving selfless thing to do.

I have to be old school and say Leia just because of her character. She's got something the others don't IMO.

 

Though if anyone here is big into the Star Wars video game series I'd have to say my real favorite female Star Wars character is Kreia from Knights of the Old Republic II. Such a complex character.

Maybe it's nostalgia, because I idolized her as a little kid... but she's the original. She was the female hero. And I mean, she strangled Jabba the Hutt to death... that's pretty badass.

Rey was fantastic. I have a feeling she'll become a favorite seeing as we get 2 more movies with her, and she'll become even more of a badass.

I can't see Padme the same way as I used to since seeing Rey in TFA... but she'll always have a special place in my heart
