How can you make me choose? What kind of monster? I mean, Princess Leia was (as you can tell) but Rey stole my heart and she's just so great.  How an I choose?

When Rey got the (really spoiler) lightsaber, my sister, who's 20, was ecstatic. I never thought about how much diversity mattered but seeing my sister so happy about a female jedi main character really put it into perspective.

Now, I'd have to say Rey.

Not in any of the movies, but Mara Jade Skywalker and Jaina Solo are the most flawless female Star Wars characters evah.  Also, Leia during her time as Chief of State of the New Republic.  She was a badass.

Its so hard, i agree. 

I was 7 when Episode I came out and had a huge crush on Padme (even though i'm gay, i still do). And I also think Princes Leia is a total BOSS. And then Rey was so likable in this new movie.
