YESS Someone else is referring to it as 5 as well!!! :yay: I referred to the first Jurassic World as Jurassic Park 4 and someone was like "Ummm you mean Jurassic World" and I was like :bye:

Nah to me it's still JP5. Jurassic World is JP4. Trevorrow was clear on this : Jurassic World is a sequel and the scene took place 22 years after the event of the first movie ^^

Though feel JP5 will less 'superficial' than JW in its story and probably darker. I hope old cast members will return for this !

Not surprised. Everyone I know has seen it, some two or three times already! And the general consensus is that it's a very good film and an excellent sequel, despite being a beat-by-beat plot retread of A New Hope. I even know some die-hard OT'ers and SW cynics that enjoyed it. The biggest concern was that it would be at the sub-par level as the prequels, now that that was proven not to be the case, the biggest concern seems to be will the next one have a fresh plot and allow room for creativity.

I myself am waiting to see it a few weeks from now, when the theaters aren't as packed. Unfortunately I've already had some plot elements spoiled for me (which sucks) but I still want to see it.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

i rarely watch movies twice in cinemas but i watched it twice last week and then it'll be my 3rd time this week. sure there were some stuff brought from episode iv but that doesn't mean the movie isn't good. it's an amazing re-introduction to a new generation of star wars fans and a really great love letter to the hardcore fans.

also I NEED THAT SPHERO BB-8 TOY RIGHT NOW HE/SHE/IT IS SO CUTE :air:

So overrated :air: JP >>>>>> SW.. There was stuff going on there at least

And nothing was going on in SW? :flop: Please. The only upside in JW was daddy Chris Pratt.

Still need to watch all the Star Wars :air:

Gurl. let's watch them together. I'm also not part of the enlightened. :hor:

So, let's put it in a nutshell.

Star Wars - there will be a new film EVERY YEAR from now till 2020.

Avatar is coming with THREE sequels in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Fantastic Beasts are coming as a triology in 2016, 2018 and 2020.

In that period: Fast & Furious 8 is coming, Jurassic Park 5 is also coming, and also a bunch of Marvel superhero movies are bound to appear (sorry haven't watched any and I'm not really familiar with the universe, but they barely skip a year without a film about some of the heroes.

Now tell me, what the F are they thinking? I think it will be an exciting second half for this decade in movies. Records are bound to be broken each year several times, and the fan wars, oh the fan wars, hide yo kids, yo wives.

Adele v. Taylor, Katy v. Gaga, etc. all seem like a simulator for the real thing when it comes to devotion. :flower:

I haven't seen it and I am going to but I'm going to be a little bitter about it because I can't shop in one single store without being bombarded with Star Wars merch or look at the TV or internet without seeing it. I'm sure it's great but the promo is really out of this world.

Literally!

Saw it opening night, LOVED IT. Not a perfect film by any means, but it was an authentic continuation of the story and characters I grew up with. The new characters are great, with a lot of room for some of the villains to become awesome.

None as big as this one which is quite an accomplishment since we live in an age of piracy.
