Miss Universe is the most highly coveted crown in beauty pageantry, and one of the most watched programs on television. It's also not just a beauty pageant where the prettiest woman wins; they're looking for brains and beauty. Believe it or not, the winners have an important role in raising awareness to different issues in different countries as well as helping the underprivileged.
