Serendipity 7,821
All 56 dates of the US leg of the "Hello" Crooner's "25" tour are currently sold out. According to ticket master, approximately 4,000,000 people vied for the roughly 100,000 tickets that were available for the singer's 6 shows at Madison Square Garden in New York alone. The CEO of Ticketmaster confirmed that as tickets for all 56 dates went on sale, fans waiting in Ticket Master's virtual waiting rooms were disappointed to find that all of the shows were sold out upon getting out of them. In a memo sent out, the CEO confirmed that the number was indeed 10,000,000 in North America alone. That means, that more people wanted to buy a ticket in the first 24 hours of availability then attended the highest attended tour of all time (U2's 360 Tour) which sold 7.2 million tickets in 3 years and 110 shows. That means that if Adele had adds more dates, and played larger venues, she could easily have the highest attended (and possibly highest grossing tour) in the history of recorded music. As for females, Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet Tour" owns the record for the highest attended concert for a female artist with 3.5 million tickets sold over 85 shows. Haroon 49,685
So far there are 100ish dates I think, but her tickets aren't expensive so I'm guessing around the£150m-£200m mark. If she charged more for her tickets I think she could easily break £300m or even £400m because there are people that will pay extortionate prices to see her
