R&B on LG5?

Since we never got the proper Gaga x Kendrick collaborations we were promised, would you mind a song with Kendrick on LG5 that has a modern electronic R&B vibe?

Or at least a solo one produced by an upcoming producer with a video (something simple yet iconic, not artistic but classy almost like the tom ford ad) that has outfits designed formally for Gaga by Donatella ha-self? if so what artist would you like on it?

Gaga doing R&B has been successful, everyone loved DWUW it just got killed because there wasn't a released video.

House, R&B and Mid-tempo has been trending and loved lately and by the time LG5 is released i think it would have evolved into Dance/Disco/Funky club songs.

Seeing that Gaga is doing a little Funk/Disco for the next one, I wouldn't say it isn't possible, Gaga doesn't have nor will ever have an album where everything is one core genre and sounds the same, just like she did with ARTPOP and drifted off to other genres and threw them under a pop influence.

(My dream tbh)

1 EDM/ Downtempo Melodic House song (I don't wanna say Diplo or Skrillex)

3/4 Disco/Funk songs produced by the producers of the cover of IWYL or Madeon, he has produced Electro-Funk pretty well.

1 R&B song (i'm not sure, as long as it is good)

5/6 Pop songs (Giorgio, Fernando and RedOne, I also want Oliver Goldstein he's really good at throwing funky vibes into pop music)

2 "JazzPunk" songs as she has in her twitter bio (Gaga herself with Ricky Tillo and maybe other people)

1 song that has no genre kinda like she did with Partynauseous

i'm fine with DJWS co-producing because ARTPOP's mastering made me cringe. I miss ZeddGa but all his music is starting to really sound repetitive.

Bette Davis

She pulled off the R&B vibe really well in DWUW and I would love to see her further explore R&B-fused synthpop. It's a sound that I enjoy, but also is really appealing to the masses. My friends who hate Gaga loved DWUW and I think it's the most well done, cohesive song on ARTPOP.

IMO rap doesn't suit her at all. Usually when pop artists feature rappers, it comes off as try hard and inauthentic to me.

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

Who knows? She actually might this time around. She'll want to switch it up, so we might be getting a one-genre-album :excited: I would like the idea... But seeing that she releases music every 2+ years, I think it would fail to clench my thirst in the long run :S

But I'm only a man and I do what I can.

I want an album that's coherent. I want the entire album to somewhat follow an individual genre, and if she's doing funk/soul/disco then rap/R&B would probably be best to avoid. I'm sure there's ways you could merge both genres but I think it's safe to stay clear.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

Applause...and J&D were on the same album...and i'm still figuring out who let that **** pass the album-listening approval...

Jewels N Drugs is such a shitstain on her discography. She's had brushes with the likes of Kanye, Kendrick, and Azealia but decides to put that on her album?? :wtf: I'll always be bitter about this lol

It was not the only reason, there are several reasons. In fact R.Kelly ruined the success and Terry Richardson also, because the video was just eeeww.

There are many people that condemn Gaga til today. It's not only about he fact that she worked with R.Kelly, but because of the ambiguous subject, in fact it was disgusting, because they wanted clearly be provocative, but that in a very cheap and concerning way.

It was wrong to work with him, many people felt uncomfortable to jam to that song, although the song was very good, a classis smash hit.

You have to say that another problem was Applause as first single, it was very gaga standard and people lost interest. Nothing new on table.

So when DWYW had been the first single plus a really collaborator for rap parts and for the video - the thing would had been a smash fire. The people were surprised when she had this kind of R'n'B-Synthwave and a cool  fresh package for it.

I've been listening to Disclosure a lot lately, especially after Caracal came out. I think that sound would fit Gaga PERFECTLY after putting her magic touch on it.

Disclosure with Gaga vocals from G.U.Y. (with more soul than it already had) would be iconic af.

If it's like DWUW then yes, give it to us.

I honestly think the sound or LG5 is going to be a synth/guitar driven punk sound (like Nirvana) melded with an R&B funk/disco hybrid.

I think we got a taste of the former on IWYL and I honestly loved it, I really want Gaga to go into this direction. I think this mesh of Nirvana/R&B tinged disco could eventually become her new signature sound.
