I don't listen to 1D, but there are other artists I don't really listen to that I feel like I know a lot more about as artists and can name more of their music. When it comes to 1D all I know is they're a boy band with a ton of fans, one might be gay and one is supposedly hella hot to all the girls or something. And they did a song about "that's what makes you beautiful!" But ultimately the biggest thing that stands out about them is the fan dedication. Oh, and the meltdowns after Zayn left.
