Ryan has alluded to aliens multiple times in different seasons, so I think that the season that focuses on aliens/space will answer a lot of questions and tie each season together. Maybe next season will be that season, I mean there are a lot of references to Gods and we all know gods supposedly exist beyond us. (like aliens) Also, the Countess' kids all play Space Invader--an alien game.

American Horror Story: Cult

I feel like there are many religious references in this season and those may be the hints.

- The 10 Commandments.

- Mr March saying he is going to kill God.

- Valentino and Natasha referring themselves as gods.

- The whole creation thing with the virus.

Also I think it would be a good way to connect Murder House (the Antichrist), Asylum (the possessions), Coven (witches in general) and Hotel (the ancient virus and its origin).

I want this one to be true. People have been asking for a cult season for a while now.

Anyway, I'd also like the idea of something to do with tech too and/or something to do with the corporate world and the government's involvement in entities like that (Monsanto, big pharma etc.) Corporatocracy basically and how frightening it is when these two things merge. It would really fit into the American Horror Story theme, but also be relevant to our times and hit home, much like Black Mirror does.

Somewhat related, but I watched this Masters of Horror episode once titled The Washintonians. The plot revolved around George Washington being a cannibal and a small but powerful cult of followers who knew "the secret" protecting his legacy at any cost, and what stood out to me was how unescapable the threat felt for the protagonists. I'd love for a season of AHS to have that feeling of suspense throughout the whole season. My point is that I think the main threat of the next season should feel like it could happen to any of us. AHS has been missing this feeling for a long time.

This could be a reach, but potentially it's set in the 1970's?

The kids have 1970's computer games:

The Countess loved the 70's the most.

Very possible there are other clues that have been missed, this was just at the top of my head...

This seems really plausible!

AHS : area 51 set in the 1970s and Gaga could play literally the government's (John Travolta) hooker.

If I heard Government Hooker on TV I'd scream.

It certainly makes sense considering that the setting of each season alternates between the past and present (Murder House = Present, Asylum = Past, Coven = Present, Freak Show = Past, Hotel = Present), so if this pattern continues, then the next season will be primarily set in the past.

:udidnt: Guys we are on to something here.

American Horror Story: Ghost Dance would be really interesting for me as an anthropology student! I know it could be a highly sensitive topic but if they can show the horror and darkness of this period of colonial history (e.g., Wounded Knee Massacre) + some of the eerie, mystifying aspect of the ghost dance ritual a la Coven's voodoo, without mocking it + instead kind of giving it an admission of guilt or crime angle on the part of the colonials idk it could be positive I believe.

A good friend of mine is also an anthropology student and I always love hearing the things he's learned of. I'm excited to catch more of your posts around the forum!

It also seems to be "Late 1970's" The Countess specified that the "late" 70's was her favourite, space invaders was '78 and I just remembered Ramona starred in 1970's blaxploitation films and met The Countess in '77.

The next season has got to be in the 70s. There've been so many references it'd be a huge surprise if it wasn't at this point.

Wasn't the 70s also a big time for alien sci-fi? (I get that most science fiction is focused on aliens, but you guys know what I mean :emma: )

But the fact that they chose Space Invaders as the game playing in the background seems pretty telling....Maybe the next season of AHS is where they'll really touch on the alien things we've seen thus far.

Whatever the season is, I want Gaga to be in it. I know she's gonna be busy with LG5 and its promotion which I hope will be her priority, but my greedy little heart wants her acting career to continue to develop so please be in AHS Season Six.

Not to mention it'd be really interesting to see Gaga doing a different role. That way we can see more sides of her.

She could always guest star or do a cameo tbh

I want an Area 51 theme SO BAD!!!!! I am obsessed with Government Conspiracy in general & Area 51 would draw a lot of viewers!

AHS: CTHULU

I'd love to see Ryan Murphy get all H.P. Lovecraft for a season.

Though the late '70s / Hollywood idea sounds like a possibility being that there seem to be more references to either the late '70s and/or movies/Hollywood. Doesn't feel like a reach at all!
