Versace 7,873
This is how i rate/evaluate the main pop girls overall in terms of everything , talent, performing skills, selling, touring, all around 1-Gaga/Adele (i do not need to explain) 2-Beyonce (has stayed relevant and a hot topic for nearly two decades speaks volumes, 16 grammies, can sing and dance intensely at the same time, impressive vocal range, Pop RnB masterpieces) 3-P!NK (same as Beyonce, even though she's not as relevant , she's untouched and with every album she is guaranteed a smash hit, a smash album and a grammy. Hard core performer , writer, the music industry is too scared to mess with her image.) 4-Kesha (this may be a surprise but this chick wrote countless hits ,can actually sing , the ****s she gives about what it means to be an artist, the fact that she's facing what she's facing. Tik Tok and Timber remain among the best selling singles of all time. The girl can rap, sing and has a unique tone that so many of you don't get to hear. How open she is and humble will take her far in life even though it may not show now. Besides we all know when Kesha comes out with whatever she comes out next, it will smash.) 5-Katy (the thing is with Katy, she's great but she just does not seem to be able to re-invent herself, she is becoming bland , literally her popularity has risen from the Roar vs Applause thing and to me that just says her career depends on her being the it girl whenever it comes time to releasing music. She's also not as independent as the other girls , without Bonnie Mckee and Dr Luke can you imagine a Katy Perry album ! Vocals are good but nothing extraordinary.) 6-Rihanna (this girl is beyond great at putting hits out, she's a hit machine, countless number ones and radio dominance but Rihanna is perhaps the most dependent one out of all these girls and ANTI serves as the greatest example after putting 7 albums out back to back having large a team of writers and producers at all times to achieve this. We see that after she takes a break and loses touch is now having great trouble piecing the dream team that can satisfy her with the outcome she desires for this album. In other words it's an issue to be the artist without the paint brush , looking for someone to paint the masterpiece you envision. Although she's a great dancer and her vocals did improve but compared to others she's not there yet.) 7-Taylor (Yes i know this lady should be higher but now you guys see what happens to an artist who's success depends on an image rather than a unique talent. Taylor's image as the it girl, the loved girl, the sweetheart has easily been shattered by all the law suites, rumors, hatters, GP, heck even Adele lol (cause like Adele's success made Taylor's success look like nothing). Although she's arguably one of the best song writers of our time and has a wonderful tone , she lacks something that makes her stand out , something to be remembered for. Cause now she lost her image, i say she goes back and works on an epic cohesive country record that will regain her the loyalty of country music lovers, cause the pop scene is just too dirty for someone like Taylor.) 8-Miley (lol where do i begin with this one, she's very artistic , very unique but is drenched in gimmicks with not enough talent to back it up, her career is gonna depend on one uping her previous gimmick. You can say Gaga did the same but Gaga always had many options due to her being immensely talented, she was able to go on AHS , make a jazz album where as Miley has been swallowed by her gimmicks. Although when her gimmicks work there impact on the whole world is undeniable.) 9-Demi (Great vocalist, i mean not many can attempt Hello by Adele and smash it, genuine girl who's music is made to inspire and make anthems that lift others . Now the issue with her is , she just doesn't seem to be able to offer anything that makes her memorable , she is yet to have an era like Miley with Bangerz or Taylor with 1989. In other terms she's not interesting enough and i think i know why , Demi's music production is a bit behind time , it's not advanced or experimental, her sound doesn't offer anything new leaving you to focus on her powerful vocals which to some may come off as annoying belting. I think this girl needs to work with producers who can re-introduce her sound, take it to a place no one knew was possible. A Lot of potential from day 1 but is just not hitting the nail.) 10-Selena (Queen of the tweens and that's why my friends Selena remains relevant and sells well enough for someone who vocally is so far off although i must admit this era alone she improved way beyond expectations. Selena is a meh singer overall but now she's an ok-good enough singer top that with her looks and her fan base and her cheeky songs she's not going to go anywhere anytime soon.) Now for those who i just don't know where to place or evaluate Britney (is she past the point of no return such as Madonna and Christina cause all 3 are still considered legends , it's just the gates of the music industry seemed to have closed on them, time will only tell by the next album we will be able to see if Britney can truly be crossed off. Cause Britney Jean and Pretty Girls have terribly went down in flames.) Ariana ( i haven't seen enough of this girl to know where she lies in terms of being a main face of pop music or pop culture , 2 albums isn't enough , i need to see how two more albums do to judge, cause she will either be on par with Selena and Demi type of success or she can go way higher. All the girls i mentioned have been in the business for almost a decade or more. Although this girl has insane vocal talent so i'm sure it's gonna take her far, what i worry with her is not being able to advance or reinvent herself, see FOCUS.) Meghan (Same applies to what i said about Ariana but since she's not as talented as Ariana in vocals i'm worried that she becomes a one album wonder, she's good and all but you wonder whether she will be remembered for anything other than All About That Bass.) Sia (without a doubt the best songwriter of our time, thing is with her she's extremely not interested therefor i really believe she will stop her career as a singer in due time. Sia is very moody , she decided to quite music , come back to finish her record deal and then changes her mind and wants to put out a pop album yet doesn't want to show her face, not sure whether to promote or tour. Basically her career as a singer is so unstable that it will be hard for us to grasp her as a stable of the industry. You never know "This Is Acting" may be her last album and we may never hear of her again , don't be surprised expect anything from Sia.)
Didymus 34,379
1. Beyoncé (all-round impressive talent) 2. Nicole Scherzinger (best vocal performer in the pop industry) 3. Kylie Minogue (incredible voice and performance skill) 4. Madonna (all-round talent, but on #4 because of everything post-2009) 5. Rihanna (captivating & constantly reinvented output, unique voice) 6. Lady Gaga (all-round talent, but on #6 because of artistic inconsistency) Below: P!nk, Adele, Katy, Ariana,... Meh, lemme not go further. This list would've been different if I could also include non-main ladies though, especially Allie X who I think is the most promising pop performer today. Edit: This isn't about who I enjoy the most (Nicole's solo music is ghastly, but I still placed her so high because she is insanely talented vocally). This is about capability. And note how I placed Gaga higher than Adele pls
iCpro 14,846
This list is pretty much on point, except I would move Kesha to 6 and move Katy and riri up a spot each. Love that you placed p!nk at 3, I've been stanning for ha since I was 7 08, 09, 11, 13, 16,
Caesium 6,022
Not sure about Gaga being on the same level as Adele. Adele is easily the biggest popstar of the millennium so far and although she may not have the same performance skills as Gaga. If I were to rate it. Talent: Both pretty equal, although slight lean towards Gaga because she seems more versatile. Performing skills: Gaga, but this is a pretty unfair comparison because they're two very different types of popstar. Selling: Adele. Touring: Gaga, but Adele has yet to go on a massive tour and has said she prefers more intimate settings for her shows, so again not the fairest comparison. Awards: Adele. And to put Kesha about Taylor is deluded, no offence. Taylor is more successful in every single area and maybe she doesn't have as strong vocals as Kesha, but that doesn't really count for much. It's interesting that you note Beyonce as #1. She's easily one of the best pop stars in terms of vocalists and dancing, but her artistry is questionable due to the controversy surrounding her songwriting credits. I've heard that she is more involved in her songwriting sessions than other pop stars, but I would suspect that full involvement in one's lyrics would be a factor in a rating system. Well, yeah, but to me, pop artists are more about entertainment than talent. Beyoncé's on top because she's the best entertainer in the business while also having a brilliant voice and knowing how to act splendidly. The music counts too of course, but yeah, if I made a list about music/songwriting alone, obviously she wouldn't even be in the top

Personally, I believe self-titled was a brilliant album (and concept) and the videos were beautifully executed. She's a stellar entertainer overall, so if that's what you're basing this off of, then she's certainly pristine.
Manul 7,377
I'd put Gaga and Katy at number one as imo they are the undeniable pop queens (if you forget about Katheryn's talent and performing skills ). Then I think Taylor Swift even though she is considered a newcomer in the pop scene, I've always thought that her older smashes have been heavily influenced by pop. Anyways, she dominates with every album, she makes entertaining videos and the music sounds great as well (not a big fan of her though). Then Queen B, RiRi, P!nk and Justin Bieber in any order. I don't know what Adele is doing at No. 1 though, she is a monster in terms of success and very talented but she is lacking in any other area and her pop culture impact is minimal. But of course, personal opinions and all, I'll just up yours cause there are some real queens in there. it wasn't laaaahv
