just bc it didnt chart doesnt mea it wasnt a hit. almost everybody knos that song. try and deny it all you want.

I go by charts. if you think those songs are hits, then by all means you can consider it a hit. It just makes it more subjective.

Everybody knows about "Friday" by Rebecca Black, so then that could be considered a hit as well.

5M is decent? How many female albums sold 5M since 2013? 2? 3? She's very successful in album sales, so it's pretty fair calling her a main pop girl

2. 1989 and 25. Beyonce hasn't sold that much.

Drunk In Love went viral, but it wasn't a hit. It bombed WW and hasn't sold even 2M in the States, that's far from a smash.
As for the others.. Feelin' Myself is a tumblr hit, I guess. Partition? It was a hit in the hive's hearts.

So Beyoncé is the third best selling female album in three years, right? That's far from decent

But Beyoncé was released 2 years ago? Aw, only the Hivé.
I didn't say it wasn't decent. I was just pointing out that Beyoncé hasn't sold 5M WW.

Anyways, if we're gonna use that logic, only three female albums that were released after ARTPOP were able to outsell it, but I have yet to see a post about how ARTPOP's performance was "far from decent". Well, in the way you put it.

She's the cross-over queen. She's a confident and fierce black woman, that gets Pop success with Hip-hop singles.

A hit and a 'smash' aren't the same thing. It went #2 on the Hot 100 and spent two months in the top ten for goodness sake, of course it was a hit. If you've ever been in a club (or any public place for that matter) and witnessed the reaction to that opening melody, you would know that song is a hit. I can't believe it's even up for debate tbh.

Because she is. She always bends the current trend to her own image.

Dude every drunk sorority ho rushes to the floor when Drunk in Love comes on, to this day. And Feelin Myself has memed itself into the internet lexicon. Literally just popped my *** to it in a club yesterday. Why do I see this misconception everywhere that Beyonce hasn't had a recent hit?

Can't you read? It went viral. It went top 10 because of streams in the first place. I'd give you 'a streaming hit' but that's it.

And I don't go to the gay clubs, maybe that's why I have yet to see the crowd who went CRAZY!11 the second DIL came on.

Well..even her talent to sing and dance overshadows her album and chart sales

People like Beyonce cuz she's a performer, not cuz of her sales

Maybe you're the one who's struggling to read as you seemed to think everyone called DIL a 'smash' and now you seem to think I was talking exclusively about gay clubs. I'm not sure why you seem to be so defensive and angry about Beyonce's success.
