Warholian 6,880
This thread is full of absolute ****, my god. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?
Rolodex of Hate 1,761
Good on them. Regardless of the organisation they're working for, their message is wonderful. Gaga really needs to stop wearing fur for so many reasons - she even once gained fans for openly stating that she'd never wear fur. Therefore, I support the consumption of animals that have been able to live a quality life and have been treated fairly and slaughtered humanely. I am living proof of that. When I was small boy, I got a case of eczema, my parents tried the natural approach cis they want their children stay away from chemical as much as possible, so they were suggested to get me a bowl of snake meat soup by the locales and after consuming it for a week, my eczema got fully healed and never comes back and my skin becomes lotsa more smoother and glowing. It is also good to treat acnes as well. So, I agree, meat is beneficial. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

However, snakes are often slaughtered in extremely inhumane ways, but if the animal was allowed to live free-range for a reasonable amount of time, then I see no problem with it. Therefore, I support the consumption of animals that have been able to live a quality life and have been treated fairly and slaughtered humanely. (For example, I will only invest in free range chicken or eggs). Excuse me In what sort of nature is it meant that humans need to eat meat? All the predators eat RAW MEAT. They kill their victims, they tear their fur or skin with the might of their jaws and teeth, and they have the digestive system that will withstand RAW FLESH of their victim. That's the way it works in nature. There are, of course, cases when species like hyena don't kill their victims, but rather steal the victims of bigger predators, but they nonetheless consume RAW MEAT. Humans are the biggest exception ever. Naturally, we are not supposed to be predators, yet we for some weird reason act like we are. Have you ever imagined yourself stripping naked, running barefoot, trying to kill a deer or a zebra with nothing but the might of your jaws, teeth and hands? Even if you don't break a leg or two during the chase, have you ever imagined yourself tearing the skin of a freshly-killed chicken with your teeth and consuming its RAW MEAT with blood and fats? Human's digestive system is hardly ever meant for the raw meat. We are hardly ever meant to be predators. But we have decided to consume meat because we have learnt how to cook it, so that it suits our digestive system and so that we don't get lots of infections into our stomach every time we decide to eat RAW ANIMAL FLESH. Now that's not very natural, is it? It's the result of our MIND. It's due to intellectual dominance of humans in the world of animals that we've been able to make such a choice. So it's just a choice which has been made for the sake of our own comfort. Maybe it was an issue of survival some long time ago, but it hardly is now. The choices made by human mind and human brain are not natural or unnatural. The desire to eat meat is neither natural nor unnatural - it's the result of the decision made by some of your ancestors long time ago. They might have made a wrong choice, and we might need to correct that a bit. Before stating that the decision to cook ANIMAL FLESH was a good expression of human mind, think of many other 'profound' things accomplished by human minds, at least of all the wars and slaughters human mind has caused us as a civilization and think one more time. Cheers.

We can't force a herbivore to eat meat and we can't force a carnivore to eat plants, therefore it would be impossible to force all omnivores to avoid meat.
