Gaga's Lips/Fillers/Surgery/... Thread

It makes me laugh when fans still argue that she hasn't had any work done when she has admitted it herself in interviews. Get with the program people. And fillers do settle and go away after awhile. There is so much pressure now that she is onscreen in tv. I haven't met an actor in Hollywood who hasn't had work done. It's the norm there.

Reported it but nothing's happenin' :gaycat:

Oh calm down. It's a poll and nothing more, something that hasn't been put up yet.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

I don't really care. She was prettier when she was in her early 20s, but her face her life.

Just get better wigs

I do too. :( But it's not our business, if she feels happy with it ... Maybe her perception of physical beauty has changed over the years, I just hope it doesn't come from a lack of confidence.

It is our business because we are her fans and we want the best for her. And such face modifications never end good. She's started looking scary and I am concerned

This argument is as tired as Madonna's film career :rip:

I mean, I can't understand why some of you set this apart as something that shouldn't be cared about or discussed. You can look the same way at her music too ("Why are people caring about whether or not this song of hers is good or disappointing? Why do people care about which producers she uses? Why do people care about the album cover? It's her decision what she wants to do with her music. Who cares?") yet no one is advocating that absurd notion.

This forum is made because people want to talk about Gaga to an extreme degree and her look (more in terms of fashion, agreed, but I don't recall anyone criticizing Monsters for discussing her BTW horns because it's none of our business) has always been part of that, so has her personal life. So why is this off bounds? It makes no sense and it's time you people start realizing it.

Please tell me you are not seriously saying an artists history of plastic surgery is comparable to their musical output or even fashion choices! These are two different worlds you are trying to put on the same level, and for me it's a no go! Discussing the quality of music, fashion and performances is of course the reason why we come together on this forum, and that's how it's supposed to be. But personally I just can't wrap my mind around what's so interesting about an artists decision to undergo plastic surgery. To me, that's the artists private decision, which I neither care about, nor do I have the right to judge the artist or any person for chosing to change their appearance.

Those who seek such a surgical intervention most likely do it, because they where unhappy with how they looked before. Why being negative about it? Doesn't make sense to me. If it helps anyone to get over insecurities about their looks, then I am happy for whoever achieves a bit of self consciousness from plastic surgery. Would you judge someone for going to a psychologist to treat mental illness? Probably not. So why do we judge people who treat things about their bodies that makes them feel bad? Because their looks are part of the "product Pop Star" they sell? Right, just like people go berserk whenever their favorite pop star gains weight, because it cheapens the persons value as a product. That's sick.

Whatever.

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

Who's judging Gaga in this thread though? Not many people.

You're just building a case against the wrong people, that is all that's happening here.

Spoiler

But the appearance and way an artist changes his/her look is also a part of whole perception of the artist. Let's think about Hunter Tylo or Jennifer Rush who used to be idols and commonly admired women, not only in terms of talent/artistic work but also their appearance. Now they are caricatures of themselves and no longer icons because they have fallen into the trap of plastic surgeries. It's sad that Gaga can make the same mistake.

To be honest, makes me kinda sad when I thought about it.

I mean, she can do whatever the f*ck she wants (with her boodeeh), but to see someone who you once appreciated for their integrity and self-acceptance actually lose those things is kinda devastating, it somewhat feels like your 'childhood' and past memories are suddenly all shattering into pieces, because your childhood idols are doing something what you thought they would never ever do in their lives.

I mean, I still think she is great, and I will still be a fan of her artistry, but I don't know how why she thought of doing this, considering she is surrounded by loving people... What does Gaga's mom think of this? What does Taylor, her fiance, think of this? If Gaga was truly happy being with them, then why did she feel the need to change the way she looks? I don't know. It still feels strange to me, that such a confident woman says she wants to step into her 30s with a bang and is excited to mature, yet shoots up botox into her forehead.

She can do whatever the f*ck she wants, but it does creep me out.

It doesn't bother me at all because I think she never looked this good than when I see her every week in American Horror Story.

She also looked her best at this year's Emmys.

So I'm here for her facial modifications, but I'm not sure I want more.

I never implied that many people in this thread are judging her. On the basis of just one short comment of mine, expressing that I do not understand those who do get upset about it, you built a case.

Bitch pls.

"Why are people getting upset about this?"

"Why being negative about it?"

"Would you judge someone for going to a psychologist?"

"So why do we judge people who..."

It wasn't one short comment, it's the foundation of all your posts here.

You basically say you don't care about her facial adjustments and you don't find it interesting, but then I don't understand why you're even in here lecturing some invisible negative person (who you acknowledge isn't in this thread).
