Should have 'Run Away With Me' been lead single for E•MO•TION

Even though I class IRLY as a complete bop, I would say RAWM should have been lead single because it was undoubtedly the best Pop song of 2015. 

In my opinion her record label considered IRLY as the next 'Call Me Maybe' and they tried to rein act it with the whole 'cheesy' and 'immature' concept even though she is 30 now. It is a shame, this album is a hidden gem.

I agree, RAWM is just better and more catchy than IRLY. I mean, both are really good pop songs but after a while IRLY gets a little annoying. 

They should have released the best song on the album as the lead and maybe we would be in a different situation rn. It's truly sad because it was one of my favorites albums this year.

IRLY got repetitive quite quick for me, but RAWM sounds fresh whenever I hear it.

I actually thought it was the lead single and forgot that I Really Like You was a single until this thread  So yes, it definitely should've been the lead  I wish they hadn't gone down the repetitive fun-cheesy route to get people interested like a Call Me Maybe 2.0, I get that some people would've latched on straight away because of that but it kinda boxed her in because it may not have let others give her a chance past that single

The reason she flopped is because radio refuses to play her music. She would have flopped regardless of the song.
