I can see why people can go up in arms about this, but I don't think it was meant as a diss. It was more like "Well I mean fuck what's hot at the moment, it's more about what's right for us". He does have an Oscar for acting and those are pretty coveted awards not just given to anyone. I think his Joker is pretty interesting, and that role isn't just given to a crappy actor. Ive heard not so great things about him as a performer tho. I know there is a video of him singing in a crowd, then punching some girl in the face for touching him.
