The answer is easy if LG5's lead single is not prepared yet, since she'll have only one material (Til It Happens To You) to present. But between the choices of the two, I'd pick LG5's lead single. The example you've given might be an exception. Like monketsharona said, Titanic is a huge commercial success, this is not the case for The Hunting Ground, plus I believe there have been songs performed at the Grammys without the desired outcome we've been wanting.
