I think it's sort of held like a security deposit and refunded no matter the verdict. If you committed a crime and needed bail, you would most definitely ask for a family member to bail you out. In his case, his sister happens to be a millionaire and is probably holding out hope that he's innocent. Don't judge her. This isn't a Nicki Minaj situation. This is a Jelani Maraj situation.
