What do you guys think? Would you like one of Gaga's upcoming music videos to be directed by Tarsem Singh?
He's the directed of the famous movie "The Cell", starring Jennifer Lopez:

From another one of his movies, "The Fall":

I think they would do wonders together!

I was just gonna mention how much those screens of The Cell look so much like The Fall. Never knew he directed both!

I'd love to see them work together. Gaga has some really good ideas in terms of cinematography, and her working with other directors, including Singh, would be very good directorial education for her.

3 points in and ready for more

It looks cool...kinda exotic Matthew Barney-ish...but I don't think Gaga's next musical chapter will be a perfect match for this kind of imagery...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

That would be great. But not for lead single. Lead single needs less of "weird" stuff like in the first pic. It should be focused on her talent and catchiness of the song. I'd like to see something like this for the third single

Nice but it seems like you want his cinematographer instead.

Yup

oops. Well, but doesn't the director tell the cinematographer what he wants? And The Cell and The Fall didn't have the same cinematographers.

I like his cinematography. Very expansive and theatrical with bold color palettes.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

No. Not unless the director is Martin Scorsese. lol This director does have a type but in the end, these shots are not his.
