Fab interview. He seems genuine!

We all knew new music wouldn't be here til next year. Not surprising, but it's promising.

Gaga stated in that Billboard interview that she feels more s-xual than ever when she's nearing her 30's. How can s-xy and vocal powerhouse not work? Beyonce made it work and to a certain extent Mariah did.

s-xy and conservative can work together though.  Look at her performance of New York, New York as an example.  It's just the end result that matters.  I just don't see her doing Just Dance stuff anymore.  Understand?

I can't prove anything and you can't too. So everything we're basically saying here is 'going by our intuition'. Let's put it right there.

I didn't hear about Gaga in a mainstream way ever since Bad Romance or the meat dress. How do I know? Simply because you can hear it around you, on the radio, on the news. The Oscars performance didn't explode as much as the majority of GGD thinks (or wants to believe) it did.

You mentioned the C2C Tour but that has nothing to do with the fact that the mainstream's perspective on her hasn't changed. I'm not talking about hundred thousands, I'm talking about millions of people.

Adele's comeback and 25 was received by the public in a very mainstream way. Beyonce's surprise album release was basically everywhere too. Katy Perry had several radio smash hits recently. Gaga has been gone and it's very clear.

I honestly don't get how you guys want to believe it was the most productive year when Bobby and Gaga both said that it was more of 'a year off' and a year of 'reflecting'. It was definitely an important year though, I won't argue on that.

I don't have to prove anything though, I never said the mainstream's perspective changed, I just said that if you don't think that anything that happened since 2011 has reached public consciousness and helped to make people think she's at a different career phase right now, then you're just really distorting things. I'm not saying everyone (has to) know(s) about what she's doing at the moment, but I don't believe for a second that the majority of people would be absolutely clueless about anything she did post-2011 resulting in the "Where is she?" question.

I didn't say productive btw, I said rewarding since, like I said, she exposed herself to very different audiences and made a very definite impact on them. Who gives a **** that she's not reaching unattentive teenagers who wouldn't even stand by her longer than the gossip sites would need to spread lies about her? That's not an audience she needs to reach for me..

1. I think they want ''no hype' this time so 'he didn't tell anything but general (Misleading) information.

2. NO album till 2017??? why! in this case she will loss  2015's hype and major music event in 2016 (grammy).
Also they want safe release date for lead single, so i think late jan / early feb is great time.
(if she wait till late 2016 most likely  there will be katy vs gaga again. MESS):wtf:

3. OF coarse gaga is busy of AHS, but it doesn't means she isn't working on LG5, also she is busy, not her team!

4. gaga is very involved in process of making music but it doesn't means  producers can't work without her ;)

soin my opinion  we are so close to a new music (at last lead single)

i can't wait:giveup:

Gaga writes all of the music.. So no producers can't work without her.

of course ARTPOP flopped for gaga's standarts. also artrave flopped compared to her other tours. but flop is flop:P

applause was great song but not memorable hit (Though it was the best song from ARTPOP)

ArtRave didn't really flop compared to anything. It had less dates and a bit cheaper tickets so it just couldn't gross as much as her previous tours..

Btw in my country at least,Applause is more popular than any Born This Way song

I just love this interview, their combo is just perfect. I'm pretty sure we will see that perfection on LG5 era. :excited:

She doesn't just write the lyrics..You better watch some interviews instead of saying random things.... She writes the melodies and the lyrics..And helps with the producing a lot too..

Yes, but producers have their ideas and if Gaga likes it, she just makes little changes. They are absolutelly working without her 60% of time

I can almost finally say : he's great.

Of course I'll still wait to judge until after LG5 campaign ends but for now, I can sleep peacefully after reading this

yeah but once the song is recorded, mixing and producing doesn't need her. She's probably supervising of course. Now it's quite usual to see artists not working together in a same place to get a final produce. Most of featurings for example are not done with the two artists recording in the same studio... That's quite sad when you think about it, but it's definitely a way to save time...

Like you say most of Gaga's work is on writing and recording her voice

Yeah I agree with that. Gaga is not always needed on producing. But the other guy said that Gaga just writes lyrics. Which is not true in any way.

Regarding what you said about changing the mainstreams perspective on her, that has more to do with the media, not normal everyday GP... If the media and other industry executives are on her good side, it will translate over to the GP because they are the one's who influence the GP everyday. I say she's done a pretty damn good job on that, wouldn't you?
