This is literally EVERYTHING. Sinatra is one of my favorite artists and the fact Gaga was able to close this amazing tribute show with a true classic that was totally meant for her to cover, like, UGH this is just so exciting and makes me so happy :nick:

gurl I understand, but all she's done for a year is cover other artists material, tribute or not; it's just enough already.

Moments like these remind me why I am such a big fan of her.

She sounds impeccable.

how dare I have an opinion :rip:

You're on a forum, where opinions are meant to be discussed and criticized in presumably civilized exchanges.

She has no material released at the moment.

Are you really insinuating that it's better for her to not sing anything at all in the meantime?

Do you honestly believe that these performances are having a negative effect?

In both cases, the answer is a clear and resounding no.

over the covers :toofunny:

Odd that you felt the need to comment that in a thread that was obviously about a cover if you're over it :rip:

She's in between eras, you'd have a point if LG5 was released and she was still singing covers everywhere :toofunny:

When someone says "it's enough", it implies they want what they're complaining about to stop.

im gonna be done with this thread now, people are trying to put words in my mouth; my opinion is that I don't care for these covers, that's it. no amount of bulls--t is going to change that. She can do them, that's perfectly fine; however i'm over it, i've had enough of it, etc.

No need to get touchy. There's a subtle implicative difference between "It's enough" and "I've had enough".

The former is objectively stating that enough of the subject has been done, thus implying that you believe that Lady Gaga should stop because enough has been done, while the latter is subjectively stating that you've had enough of the subject, which only implies that you don't care for the subject anymore... which is what you're trying to say apparently.

Not trying to give you an English lesson, but that's the root of the misunderstanding. :O)

I'm not touchy, this thread is annoying me, and I don't need armchair English teachers trying to give me lessons on a lady gaga forum. kbye  :hor:
