Even for some of her down to earth qualities like Adele has. I don't think the public will turn on Adele soon though. Her amount of success is unparalleled to anyone. Pandacadabra 9,094
This article and the comments are annoying. So if TS was never really loved by the public before how come her album sales are always so high, most of them opened more than a million and until now are still some of the best selling of the century. Some people just wanna find ways or show hate/dislike when a lot of people are doing it too. If you dont like her at least dont discredit her. Oh, and Taylor's singles go #1 in my country since 2009. StrawberryBlond 14,861
I've always disliked how the public changes its views on artists practically year on year and even discredits the ones that they liked before when someone "better" or more popular comes along. There's a new fave every 1-2 years in the pop scene, that's why I never jump to conclusions and roll my eyes whenever I see a topic posted like "Is ____ now one of the major pop girls?" So many of them come and go. More and more artists are becoming one album wonders. You can't say they're here to stay unless they've had 3 consecutively successful albums now. So, with all this, it's easy to see why the public's opinions change like day to night. Anyone who's hung around GGD long enough will remember the avatar/signature crazes for Lana, Marina, Lorde, etc, that died out after one album cycle. Now we've got the crazes for Ariana, Taylor and Meghan, but who know how long they'll last? In between albums, you don't see the support for them be so strong either. So, to see how easily artists can get "replaced" makes me not worried as much for Gaga because I've seen by now that's it's impossible to stay on top forever. And the likes of Beyonce making a comeback shows me that it is possible even if you didn't have lots of #1 singles to begin with. I'm not keen on either Taylor or Adele but it has been sweet to see Taylor's bubble burst due to Adele's comeback. Suddenly, her records have been broken or no longer look as impressive, her high production values are now called overblown, her singing sounds weak. If one artist is to slay, I know which one I'd prefer. Thank God its got Saint Taylor's fans to hush up for a bit because the constant coverage and gushing was getting on my last nerve. At least the love for Adele is a bit more understandable.

When Shake It Off hit the world loved Taylor again and because Adele is back and makes *~☆real music ☆~* they hate Taylor again, not to mention the public always turns on popular artists. It will happen to Adele one day. So sad but so true. No one expected that to happen with Gaga to the degree that it did. From what I've seen the more successful an artist is, the more they are torn down when they "underperform" or when people turn their back on them. I just hope Adele's addictive personality doesn't cause her problems when and if it happens.

She seems very sweet, I'd hate to see her go through a breakdown Human generated art
