Swan Heart 7,382
I'm glad she's alive and safe. All my love to you, Sinead. ❤ hope you can fight through your innner chaos, dear. And everything else that's hurting you. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

In 1992 while she was still significantly famous, she decided to appear on SNL and speak up about the cases of pedophilia that the church was hiding https://youtu.be/bCOIQOGXOg0 The minute she ripped the picture of the pope, her whole image went to ****. The entire media turned against her and most musicians said she was horrible for doing that. The media spoke of her as devil-worshipping, and that 3 minutes performance became the end of her career. She's an incredibly brave woman. This was a begrudgingly hard video to listen to just because of the acapella format and very similar melody the entire time but DAMN she was ruthless. Good for her, and what a shame that people didn't take her seriously 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

She's an incredibly brave woman. Also this: "Two weeks after the Saturday Night Live appearance, she was set to perform "I Believe in You", at the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary tribute concert in Madison Square Garden. She was greeted by a thundering mixture of cheers and jeers. During the booing, Kris Kristofferson; (actor/singer), told her not to "let the bastards get you down", to which she replied, "I'm not down."... The noise eventually became so loud that O'Connor saw no point in starting the scheduled song. She called for the keyboard player to stop and the microphone to be turned up, and then screamed over the audience with an improvised, shouted rendition of "War"... This time, she sang the song, stopping just after the part in which the lyrics talk about child abuse, emphasising the point of her previous action. She then looked straight to the audience for a second and left the stage. (Kristofferson then comforted her, as she cried)" (I took this from the description of the video above) They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Sister 9,907
I hope things can get better for her, she has really had a bad time and no one should go through it all alone and thinking that there is no one there for them. I wish her well and a bright new year. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
