Ethan deleted the shady part of the comment, Alice has been known to stretch the truth, and CC's first demos were produced in 2004, before Ethan met Alice in 2006. There's a lot we can't know, but you honestly can't say that it's not Ethan's band.

Same, I'm kind of reserving judgement until we have (IV) and a Alice Glass album. I love Frail, Deicide and STILLBIRTH regardless... the only thing I'd feel really weird about is going to a CC gig if they tour the UK again

yeah I also liked Frail and Deicide, and I'm quite happy with the sound Alice decided to go with Stillbirth. What really bothers me is what Ethan said about her, paying her dust knowing perfectly well that she was a HUGE part of Crystal Castles' success.

That's why I'm a bit conflicted. I don't want the new singer to imitate Alice, but if she doesn't then their new music will not sound like Crystal Castles. Going to a CC gig now would be so ****ing awkward for me

Alice was on the past 8 singles before she left the band. 2 of those songs are unreleased... the only singles on the list are Crimewave and Air War

The first album is the album most people care about. Like G.U.Y. Was a single but i bet way more people know Monster or So Gappy I Could Die from Gaga. Same here in case of them.
