Tbh there's so many half truths and submitted falsifications that it's really really never been determined to be true or not (well a jury found it true) but r kelly infamously liked his women young (not jared Fogel young, but barely 18) so it's hard to tell

The SNL performance definitely didn't change Gaga's mind on releasing the DWUW video, it was the overwhelming amount of s-xualization in the video that made Gaga not release it. It was for too controversial for her to release it, and you know if it's gone too far if Lady Gaga decides it's too risqué.

I always wonder if someone on her team had a come to Jesus with her about not releasing this vid because she seemed pretty damn adamant about releasing it for a bit. 

On a shallow note, it's unfortunate that it remains unreleased because she looks hot in it (that newspaper gif ), but I'm glad it never came to fruition because the media was simply not letting R. Kelly happen again after that Village Voice article & the social justice movement being at its peak (not that I'm a big proponent of his, I mean, there is no doubt he's disgusting).  DWUW is so good and could have been among her biggest hits, ugh. I know it goes against her pathos as a sympathizer of "the misunderstood", but I'm so pressed she didn't just change R. Kelly out with another R&B guy. She could have brought back D'Angelo, Maxwell, Dru Hill, Usher, basically anybody but him. Let me not go on...

I did, and what I was saying is that I don't believe that Gaga changed her mind because of the reaction from the SNL performance. Snippets of the video leaked and people thought it was just too much, even for someone like Gaga. She just did what she wanted for the live performance, but I think it had little effect on whether or not she released the video.
