Sales of 25 stand at 737,000 in today's sales flash, sailing past the 696,000 opening week sales Oasis racked up with Be Here Now in 1997. However, the band's album was released on a Thursday so only had three days of sales registering towards its first chart week. By comparison, when 21 was first released in January 2011 it sold 208,000 copies in its first week, finally passing 500,000 sales in its fourth week on sale. But this is good because it shows this decade still have hope afterall. Isn't it great that kids of this decade one day will look back and say, "80s have Whitney, 90s have Mariah, Early 2K have Beyoncé, Xtina, P!nk, and Amy, and we have Adele and Gaga!" It's not going to sell 50K on its 1st week there. The record there is being hold by Utada (3M). Japan is the only major music market that doesn't care about Adele though.
