Did you not watch the video ? They are not scared of dying which is their biggest strength... Missiles used against ISIS worth $250k, while their bullets are worth 50 cents. You can kill so many of them, but it is gonna worth a lot, and meanwhile they are gonna kill your soldiers too. Whatever they lose isn't worth anything for them because they are extremely motivated by their religious beliefs. Also they are not a regulated army that is actually trying to protect strictly defined borders. It is not like you can declare war against ISIS and they will fight on the borders with all their power. You can kill 30k ISIS militants, 5k can still do hit and run operations...
