She said that she's scared of not living a real life and therefore being unable to write a real record that people can relate to. Now as we know, the good gyal Gaga has lived quite the glamorous life. She lives in hotels, in airplanes, in production sets. She seems so happy and blessed -- she has a hot fiancé and ever-so-loyal fans. Nothing seems to be going wrong for her. This makes me wonder, has Gaga lived enough to be able to write something noteworthy for LG5? Are the tainted windows of her luxurious car inspiring enough? Is she able to write something relatable for the new album? Or will we get another artsy-fartsy Applause-sized hoopla? More importantly, will people want to hear about the struggles of being a rich and famous actress? What do you think little monsters? What will LG5 be about? She's so phoney. She's spewing the same crap as Taylor Swift does. I want Gaga to create a fantasy world like she always does based on her existence in the real world, creating a fantasy world with her music that is inspired by the pain, happiness, sadness, etc of existing in the world. Gaga's music is not "artsy fartsy" as you put it, that shows you don't really understand Gaga at all or how she takes painful life experiences and used music to turn them into something beautiful for fans to enjoy. Gaga's music is about so much more than being rich or famous, if you think that's all Gaga's music is about, reducing all her work to that statement? You don't belong here. And you certainly do not understand Gaga one bit. And if you're saying Gaga isn't living a real life but Adele is? You're so delusional. If anything, Adele is the one not living a real life, in what world can real people take years off to focus just on their child and not work? Who can raise a family without working and doing something to bring in money to put food on the table, not many people in the real world can take years off like Adele has, that lifestyle isn't real, that is a phoney lifestyle. And these tacky songs inspired by exes, Taylor's done it and it sucked then and it sucks now when Adele does it. Adele is over rated and totally fake just like so many other people in music. Gaga is the one who is honest. Go see A Star is Born
Orly D 322
Gaga has once said in an interview many years ago that her biggest fear is not being able to get her ideas out quickly enough (because of the uncertainty of death), which implies she has a lot of concepts that she has stored in her mental bank. Last year Tony said that she has a lot of ideas, and hopes that she does "all of them". Coming up with innovative ideas is the one thing that I worry about least. It's the execution that I am not able to place my full trust on. Lyrics like "I can't believe how you slurred at me/With your half wired broken jaw/You popped my heart seams/On my bubble dreams, bubble dreams" convince me that Gaga is a songwriting genius, but then we have messes like "you just had a salad today" and I just don't know

Harry 26,836
Gaga may have a lot of money and live a 'glamorous' life, but she doesn't seem disconnected to the world or her own humanity, as those superficial things would normally imply. She still has a life, even if it's not 'normal'. She has a fiance, a family, friends etc. She obviously has her own problems too, just like anyone. Depressions, addictions, etc. She also has a good view on the world which will help and she doesn't live in a bubble. I'm not sure what angle she'll take, tbh. But it is something that has crossed my mind as well. I don't fear she will run out of things to talk about - it's probably actually the opposite - but it will sure be interesting to see what she does decide to talk about. Pandacadabra 9,085
She has the capability of writing relatable songs if she wanted to. She is capable to do cheesy bubblegum pop if she wanted to. Listen to her ballads like Speechless, You & I or The Edge of Glory. And Applause was about her struggle when she had to cancel the last dates of her tour and be away from her fans. Oftentimes her lyrics are approached at facevalue. Like DWUW despite being a song about what her critics say, people just say she's singing about s-x and understandably so due to some of the lyrics, not everyone will get it. VasilisVas 5,140
She could write about being Italian but it on a more serious note, she can write about love. She's engaged now and love is relatable to everyone even if they've never been in love before.
