The material she presented does not deserve this amount of success... Britney's album "Oops I Did It Again" doesn't deserve the record it has been holding for the last 15 years. Neither does N' Sync, but those were trends back then. People had a big pop music fever and Britney/NSync/BackstreetBoys were something huge back then. I'm sorry but Adele deserves that and probably more. I'd rather see 25 break that record and not some crap like Anaconda or any of the current popstars. I haven't listened to the album yet. I will this weekend. It isn't going to be as interesting as 21, which I loved. But good for her. The thirst was real as far as people waiting for some new Adele. It's going to be a massive seller but won't sell as much as 21, because the singles run was so brilliant and kept the album building for a considerable length of time. Oregano 103 Posted November 24, 2015 Share Posted November 24, 2015 I'm deeply impressed by 25, I fully understand that quality wise 25 may not up to 21's omnipotent reach but it's defo a worthy successor and provides a spectacular finale to the trilogy. To me it's like Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night and Rumours situation, the first is one of the greatest album ever made yet the latter is my personal favourite.
