And best of all, the ART she's left behind also serves as a reminder to her message. She's not just selling an idea, she's making art out of it.

I won't say that she's the best artist out there and no one can ever top her but I agree with you that some members here are nasty af.

Like we see a thread "Is Gaga going to do well commercially again?"

I'm not saying you SHOULD agree to the title, but if you're gonna say no, at least put it in a nice way. Like

"Not really, but who knows? I'm happy to be proven wrong. I'm here to be surprised."

Instead, I see comments like

"No, she is over."

"no"

without any explanations at all. Like wtf wow Gaga would applaud that attitude and be so happy about you refusing to be delusional and be realistic. Seriously?

Let me put it in perspective... I love my Mom dearly, but she had a very hard time with me coming out. She was raised a conservative Baptist Christian and believed that all homos-xuals are s-xual deviants who are going to Hell. We literally spent years debating this, after I came out to her.

Then, in spring of 2011, I got a phone call from my Mom. She told me "I've been listening to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' country remix on repeat for the last 2 days... and I finally understand where you are coming from about your s-xuality. I accept it --- and I LOVE YOU for it. I'm so proud of you."

Does it get any better than that? "Born This Way" literally changed my life, and my relationship with my Mom. I will be eternally grateful to Lady Gaga for this!

Honestly, reading that literally gave me goosebumps. I'm so happy for you and I'm totally jealous at your bravery to come out to her. I am genuinely happy for you haha. That's really awesome.

Yeah, that's a huge issue I have with this website. When I first came on to this site, I was fully expecting a community filled entirely with people who love Gaga the same amount all of us on this thread do, but I was really shocked to see how much negativity Gaga gets from a site based entirely around her. In my eyes, I see Gaga as a motherly figure and my savior. Had it not been for her, I would have never come out of the closet. Just something about her and her music has the power to make people feel good about themselves and be happy. It's magical to say the least.

Someone with the power to make me feel that way deserves nothing but positivity from me. I support Gaga in all of her endeavors because now she's really doing what she wants to do. She is definitely here to please us, yes, but we have to remember that she's also human. She wants to achieve her dreams too, and that's something I think a lot of people forget. As long as she keeps spreading positive messages the way she always has, I will continue to support her for as long as I live.

Welcome to GGD!!!  I don't let other people's opinions and negativity have any bearing on how I feel about Gaga and you shouldn't either.  The fact of the matter is that I love Lady Gaga and always will because she is a talented musician and an amazing human being.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

The worst part is giving Gaga support and positivity has sometimes been interpreted as being dramatic and overreacting. Just ignore those awful comments tbh. They can live their life that way, we don't have to join them.
