The field is perfect for her to return to pop.. I mean she has done hard to rebuilt her image since late 2014 and she would return with another jazz record ? I think it would get people bored and it would kill the hype for LG5... Gaga is everywhere and her image is better than ever since 2011, she should take advantages of it ! I remember that with AP and it was tiresome and left me much more broken thinking what could have been, since some theories were great vs. what we actually got. In a week we would have gotten threads reaching for the stars so hard it hurts your butt... The biggest problem with this fanbase is that it overhypes itself so much more than even Gaga does, then it's no wonder there are huge meltdowns when expectations aren't reached. I'm pretty sure she has different reasons for staying quite about next album and LM's overhype is definitely one of them. I think she also wants to surprise everyone with the kind of music she'll do and about the concept / theme.
