Katy (Nothing against her, but I don't really think that her music changes, it's almost always bubblegum pop pop)

Rihanna (I don't think that she's really brought anything fresh or new, even though I do like her music/personality)

Iggy (do I really have to explain?)

Meghan Trainor (again, do I really have to explain? I see her being "on top" for two more years.)

Ellie

Selena (Even though her singing is improving. But, I do see her being successful as an actress if she ever stops making music)

Lorde (I like her, but I don't see her being remembered in 2025)

The nothingburger, although I like some of Katy's songs its the same sorta-whispering upbeat jolly songs. And her Firework live was just soooo bad. Megan Trainor is doing the same with Katy's sound. And Taylor's 1989 is Katy-sounding. I love Taylor though and like some KP and MTrain songs.

To be fair, the OP isn't flamebait... he's just encouraging and creating an environment for it :laughga:

Rihanna because she's proved that she's nothing but a hit machine recently, and when she's not being that, she and her label don't have a clue what to do. If she's not making hits, she's not Rihanna, basically.

Cheryl Cole because she was only relevant when she was on X Factor but in recent times isn't getting even that. Her success was all purely down to being part of an established band and later being an XF judge, nothing more.

Justin Bieber because there's just no identity with him - he just goes with what's popular and there's no real heart in his work, nothing memorable.

There's a whole lot of other ones on the brink too. No real talent, no originality, nothing new brought to the table. If they all never existed, pop world would have had no change whatsoever.

Right now, as a person listening to us/UK music from italy, really few artists have distinct sound. Especially, on the radio I can't distinguish between Selena and Demi. Ellie has a particular voice, and that helps her a bit. Then, between male singers, all the one hit wonders of the last year sounds exactly the same for me.. Saint Motel, Robin Schulz, Kygo
