Just because Nicki Minaj comes across as a s-xual, maybe even "slutty" being in her public image, doesn't mean she is. The world has only known her to have two boyfriends, Safaree and now Meek. While I didn't feel a lot from Nicki reading this poem, I do think it's great she read it and I do think it can be applied to her life. Perhaps not the same way it applied to Maya's life, but when you look at Nicki's history the girl did work hard and she has gone through a lot. I mean, her alcoholic, d--g-addicted, father burned their family's house down when she was a kid.
