GloZell Green 11,723
To some extent, you do have to agree that artists deserve money for their efforts in making music, performances, videos, etc. Though the downside is that I have no moolah-lah Lady Gaga | Shakira

RAMROD 109,783
Well, about time artists will fight back for people to value their work again. Otherwise, it will be like Whitney Houston, who was in debt at the time of her death. Houston signed what was rumored to be a $100 million deal with Sony for six albums back in 2001. Houston, however, only collected about $40 million. Sony loaned her the money to records he albums, and her records didn’t sell. And she owes Sony at least $20 million. Same thing with Michael Jackson, he was carrying debts of roughly $500 million at the time of his death, which explains his way too many posthumous releases after his death. Don't be fooled, many celebs that seems to live lavishly aren't what they seemed to be when there's no cameras around. I pay for that btw, not everybody streams for free contrary to popular belief I enjoy Hello but it's not like I listen to Adele a lot anyway, no big loss for me. I pay for Spotify premium, they should have the albums for paid users at least. I wanted to at least check out the album because i didn't enjoy Hello but I did appreciate some work by her. Ill just skip this one.

Streaming will be THE future when recording labels, artists, and streamings service providers can agreed un unison how to split the income. Until then there will always be frictions between them. Especially artists who writes their own because they feel they aren't appreciated enough. Until then, labels will still.do digital and physical albums. 3 minutes ago, DSK said: Gaga herself said she makes much more money by touring - and that's what artists should do, really. As known, recording labels pays for all the artists needed to record albums, hiring experts, studioa rentals, maatering, flights for artists, and the producers and so on, and the artists need to pay them back in form of sales and royalties. It's give and take. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ hating pop music doesn't make you deep (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
