This entire season has the worst writing i've ever seen. Don't pretend like it's good. As an AHS fan you should be able to admit this is god awful unless you are delusional.

Agreed, the character development doesn't make any realistic sense from a logical standpoint that could seem plausible or authentic.

I didn't realize until TODAY that Finn Wittrock was ALSO playing Valentino and my sister made fun of me for it.

I don't think anybody's pretending it's good, people just like different things. All of this is subjective, so don't act like your opinion is the end-all-be-all because you "don't think Gaga s--ts liquid gold 24/7" and that everyone else is apparently "delusional" for not thinking like you. You can take your high horse back to the Prismatic Tour, kthx.

I enjoy AHS, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to it's faults. It's far too camp and over dramatic at time... something which, as previously stated, would probably be more suitable for theatre than screen. Gaga's acting is at times wonderful, but she can be either too monotone or too over the top. Also, when she speaks, her intonation and inflections are odd. Questions sound like statements, her voice/ accent changes all the time... it just makes it seem shoddy... all in all though, i enjoy AHS and i think without Gaga it would really lose something special.

Did not enjoy Gaga's eyebrows at the end of the show.

It's called a Flapper. Popular look in the 1920s.

Well I'm kinda interested in that guy who gave Gaga's lover the virus, he seemed pretty sketchy.

That was F. W. Murnau.

Also known as the director of Nosferatu, which has been a huge motif this season.

it was in the present day @ the end of the show though, when she was having dinner with mr. march. she didn't have to keep the same eyebrows it was kind of inconsistent tbh!

I'm pretty sure she dressed up like that to please Mr. March since they're still married and the last time they saw each other, she was still a flapper. It would make sense, since they arrange monthly dinners even when he knows she never loved him. She's just letting him down easy, in a way.

I don't get why people don't like that we're getting backstory? Some of my favorite episodes of TV are devoted almost completely to backstory (the D ick Whitman focused eps of Mad Men and "Closer than Sisters" from Penny Dreadful come to mind). Getting to understand these characters are crucial so you can see the why and the how, thus building understanding of these character's motivations.

We will clearly see what happens with Sally and the vampire school children in future episodes, they even tell us so in the episode descriptions. I like that they're spacing some of the plot out because it would be a chaotic mess trying to shoehorn ALL the characters into each episode.

The only problems I've had regarding character development is: 1.) Liz & Tristan's sudden love for each other, 2.)  Elizabeth's homicidal pre-vampiric tendencies, 3.) March not attempting to murder Elizabeth himself in the beginning. The first was just plain amateurish writing, the second and third could end up explained further on, so I'm not going to drag until the seasons over.

Fame Romance

I don't know but everytime I see the title of this thread it reminds me of that 'Delete it fat' story.

Anyone think that maybe F.W Murnau turned Gaga? You don't see her actually drink blood to obtain the virus and Valentino mentioned the train leaving the next day which you see her waiting outside in the sun without a problem. she said it won't kill u but it should be avoided.  They mentioned going to New York which is also where the Countess said she used to love walking the streets devouring. Maybe she goes to search for them or their creator wanting to be turned for her own revenge on the couple for breaking her heart TWICE!. She also had acquired her taste for the dark side by now due to being married to mr. March.

also to be a countess you have to marry a count don't you? There must be another marriage in the timeline that explains how she or her title.

AND...confusion! that little girl that throws herself in front of the bus was in the first and second episode in the hotel. How does the Countess not realize she's been gone for that long?

I agree with the first point (I doubt we're getting a flashback just for Liz and Tristan) but I don't know what you are referring to with homicidal tendencies in the second one (?)

I know right. (Lol I'm replying to every post you made) Like, why does everyone act like she was a regular person? I mean, Will Drake is going to marry her and he doesn't even know about it? No one is like "oh, countess" I'm starting to think is a nickname
