LOVED the episode. Gaga was amazing in it.

But were Valentino and that chick the ones who turned Gaga? Because they disappeared before they were supposed to leave..

yea im guessing they turned her right there by that stained glass window

Thanks for the replies to my questions guys! I dunno, i thought Gaga's acting was good, but the last few episodes it seems to be.... bad, for me.... But everyone is loving it so it must just be me, I just don't think she's very convincing :/ Love her, her character and the show though :)

Good lord. She said that March brought out the darkness she had in her. This was all stated when she was reunited with Rudolph and Natacha

It still doesn't add up. No normal person turns into loving to watch someone be hacked up because their lover is a bit dark. The whole season is terrible writing wise.

Last night was like watching a 5th grade play-you are right the acting was awful. Evan Peters saves every scene luckily- he could read a phone book and I would watch he's such a good actor.

it doesn't make sense that the darkness that she had within her came out upon finding someone who embraced the darkness so easily? ok, lol

I thought she was. I'm currently reading the AV Club review of the episode and so far it's the only thing they've talked about.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

This episode gave me some answers I was thirsty for, so I was satisfied. Opening credits had Finn Wittrock listed as guest starring so I was SURE and ready for some development on how Liz is doing, but I guess we'll have to wait.

I LOVE that the people who evidently turned The Countess are Rodolpho Valentino and Natacha Rambova (Rodolpho Valentino and Natacha Rambova are actual real film figures from the 1920s, Rodolpho and actor and Natacha a dancer and costume and set designer). What's going to be really interesting to (hopefully) see play out is now there are characters who are higher up than the Countess in terms of power in the chain of characters. Elizabeth was some little doe-eyed girl they referred to as a little mouse, and now they're back. Is Elizabeth going to revert back to that "little mouse-ness" in fGotront of Rodolpho? Or is there going to be new conflict because the Countess had almost 100 years to since getting the virus to move forward with the world and become the most powerful and feared figure in the Cortez.

Honestly I sort of hope Rodolpho and Natacha see how bad@ss and evil Elizabeth has gotten over the years. And the other two vamps are gonna probably poop themselves the second they leave that hotel and see how life is lololol.

In terms of Gaga's acting I'm still very pleased with it, but there are a few times, especially in "Flicker" where I'm surprised she chooses to act or react in a certain way. Mostly in the scene where Elizabeth visits Rodolpho. I guess it can be interpreted as a nervous, wide-eyed "trying to process it all in and figure out what's going on while being utterly seduced" but I always sort of thought that pre-Countess Elizabeth would have a bit more contrast with Countess Elizabeth by having more of a girlishness and with some more expression. I did find a girlishness aspect but I didn't personally feel it was enough. Other than that, though I'm still very impressed and happy!

I'm so happy she is being praised! Maybe it is just me :) Also, I was expecting the character of her 'one true great love' and their relationship to be a lot...... more? Like it doesn't seem like a great love to me, it seems they barely know one another and were never really even together??
