That person was acting like the fact that their grandmom would cry if she heard this lady is reason to put the lady in jail. It's not. You can't claim this is an American belief when y'all strip people of their rights and gunning people down I'd rather propaganda that encourages discrimination (which is illegal anyway and a breach of human rights) to be taken seriously in the law than allow discrimination to be encouraged to feed into the general oppression of various groups. I'm happy no one in the U.K. would get away with talking like the idiots you see on Fox News. Most Americans believe in "freedom of speech" in a different way than Europeans do. So, yes, it IS an American belief. You can talk about the other things America does, but the whole "freedom of speech" thing is very American. This is why here all the crazy people run their mouth. People like Trump, for example.
