Adele - "When We Were Young" (Snippet)

I would say she is pushing the vocals a little harder than the past. She hit some high notes in the bridge of Hello, and then this full voiced slide into a high note on "When We Were Young". With the natural thick velvety tone of her colorful voice, she has never really needed to show off her range, but it's cool and exciting to see her do it. I feel like the production of Hello was different from songs in her past(and I loved it) , but "When we were young" has the same production as songs from 21. So in conclusion, she is stepping outside of her comfort zone a bit, but not enough to alienate fans. Very smart move Adele.
