Blue Jeans 3,815 Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 I love Paparazzi, i think everyone does, but I believe that Gaga wouldn't make a song like that today, "I'm you're biggest fan i'll follow you until you love me" she's so desperate for the attention of that man, if feels very anti-feminist, kind of like a Lana song, where they need that man to feel something. Whenever i listen to it, i kind of cringe, even though the song is beautiful, but I'm like f*ck that guy, if he doesn't love you, get the f*ck out. The music video is a different story tho, that's what saved it tbh, its edgy, female empowering. Thoughts on this, (I was high when i came up with all of this btw..) Destiny is for losers. I believe many songs cannot be written twice because it usually related to the mood the artist was in at the time. FFS 21st century Feminazis are a huge problem in society today and are holding back women more than any man could or would. As for the song, she needs to strive to make something that great. The classical music built in, the sound effects relating to the topic, the reverse-expectations undertone.... Telephone had the telephones in it and amazing harmonies, but that's the only song that's really come close to replicating the cohesion of sound and lyric. HML is a song which is very loved, like Paparazzi. When I made a thread asking people if they would like a song similar to it on LG5, most of the responses were that Gaga should do something new, not something that resembles her past work.
