I honestly don't remember how the theory of "Eden" came up, but I was thinking about it the other day and realized what a good title "East Of Eden" would be. It's a title of a very popular book that covers the human struggle of choosing between good and evil (something that has seemed to come up in Gaga's imagery a lot over the past, at least the yin vs yang aspect of it), the book is also filled with nature imagery and that's definitely something Gaga seems to be exploring on her own through instagram and the like.

The book was also also published in the 50's, a time period that seems to have influenced Gaga's current role of The Countess on AHS.

And just working with the title alone would allow for a lot of concepts to be explored, Eden could be viewed as a personal heaven that Gaga has been working towards over the past few years since the struggle of late 2013, she may not be there quite yet (hence being EAST of Eden), but since she know's she's east of her paradise, she knows she's on the right path and seems to know where to go. It would maybe be nice to have the album end with her song Paradise, maybe she could rewrite it to be about being on the winding path of life, trying to find a mentally happy place with her new found friends, motivation and fiance instead of it being a love song to New York.

The book also features quite a few psychopaths I think (never actually read the book, just heard people talk about it and sparknotes lol), and Gaga was reading a lot of books about psychopaths and the general topic of mental instability. 

Might be a reach on my part but if this is something Gaga has been considering, this concept could work MIRACLES for her & I know I'd love it; it could have songs like Zella Day's Sweet Ophelia and the appropriately titled East Of Eden (lol), they could serve as the more rock influenced songs (I'd imagine Gaga's songs to be a little more intense than Zella's) and could also feature more "I Want Your Love" songs for the Disco/Pop bops for the radio and singles.
