Lionrock - Packet of Peace

Never knew rap could sound like this! Love the lyrics (in the English accent. And there's a Roland TB303 acid machine gnirk in there. The sound that changed my life.

"I leave my mind beneath the mat/so you can let yourself in

If you can stand the mess, then stay/but I'm not entertaining

Dandy Warhols - NOT IF YOU WERE THE LAST JUNKIE ON EARTH!

The Dandy Warhols were fun! Until adulthood finally got its claws into them. The video features Gagas friend the very lippy Amanda Lepore. And dix points for most ironic title/lyrics of the millenium.

And I find Courtney Taylor-Taylor quite hot.

Malcolm Mc Laren & The Bootzilla Orchestra - Waltz Darling

Featuring Lourdes (NO! Not Madges daughter)

I'm a blushing bud of Innocence says Papa at big expense.    Old maids say I have no sense. Boys declare I'm just immense!

One Republic - Love Runs Out

Trivia: the lady on the piano, Carmen dell'Orefice, has her first Vogue cover in 1946 (yaa...the mind boggles).

My lesbian friend Zoe introduced this song to me. I once told her out of a gender correction. Zoe, you don't want to be a man. You *hate* men!

Therese - Time

Full-on fabulous to dance to! Stonebridge used to be part of a DJ-collective called Swemix, who took on a guy called Max Martin to do the coffee or summat. Went great for him eventually.

Oki. This is rilly, rilly obscure. Like if you gather all the people on earth and the other planets of our solar system, maybe four or five would go YAY! over this song. There's so much *not* right about it. The mediocre songer does her best to wail away her bit, the rest of the prodution sounds thin, cheap and tinny.      But still...there is what Andy Warhol would call the Art of Repitition. After a few minutes of these annoying sounds you just have to surrender. There's something just so DAMN effective about how it works. And I were not just one of five at the time to think so at the time.

Here comes eleven minutes+ of

D'jaimin - Give You (91 syndromad mix)
