He's a bit right.

I've only seen two people agreeing with him on this board, one is a Madonna stan and another one Katy stan.

Please do elaborate how is he right? SQwPmyf.gif

I'm so glad he repented. It's not too late yet. Accept Lady Gaga in your life and she shall guide you to the true meaning of pop and music.

I have a feeling that this guy hasn't done his research.

Since she was 13

it would be more honest for him to say that quote together with "That is what I initially thought! Until she blew me away with her flawless vocals and fantastic performance!"

But that would have meant recognizing her talent. And people like him, who look down on the pop sphere of music, dont like that. "Of course she was sooo uncomfortable with giving her best vocal performance ever! average attention seeking popstar shouldnt be asked to sing, because that breaks the stereotype of the talentless pop girl, and I cant look down on that!!!!111!!11!!"

Sigh, someone should gift C2C on itunes to this guy, so he can learn about what Gaga is comfortable with

Why can't he just admit that he didn't like the performance?

Gaga's vocals and performance skills aren't for everyone. He should have stood by his opinion instead of trying to hop on the "We love her again" bandwagon.

that made a travesty of it because it's not exactly what she's used to or feels comfortable singing.

Sondheim hasn't been relevant in ages. He did some cool **** back in the day, but now his opinion means nothing.

He probably just has some stupid rivalry with the producer lmao

Plus, his (much) younger boyfriend is a fan of Gaga, so it makes sense: typical gay b---hing.

I don't think that opinion is coming from a place of no bias or influence. Yes, he's correct in implying that the vocals Julie Andrews sang were not in Gagas easy vocal range - Gaga knew that herself and trained for what, 6 months? And that paid off in that she was magnificent. Her looking comfortable on stage is just a matter of perception, to me she was completely consumed by the music and liberated, maybe that's not his thing lol.

I don't care if he's trying to 'cover up' what he said in February. The man is a musical legend and his opinion is valid. Unlike the opinion of someone who produces TV-series.

You will never please everyone.
