Serendipity 7,821
Just now, monketsharona said: I think radio want variety ^^ I think Gaga could give them some bops while Adele is giving them romantic ballads I meant the general sound They may have a crossover moment but one will overtake the other The mid decade has approached and this is the time when pop is always at its lowest point It won't be until 2018/2019 when it comes back again to its peak See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK
Carmex 964
Socially aware queen Lady Gaga said that she knows people want another "Bad Romance", didn't she? She knows what she's doing hopefully. I know she knows these "trends" aren't very trendy right now but she probably believes she can make them trendy if she tried. Which is why we love her. She's so courageous. So I'm going to say hopefully not but who knows?
elijahfan 26,030
Quite frankly, ARTPOP's genre was the least of that record's problems

Sister 9,907
No. I do not actually believe that LG5 is a disco infused album. I will have to hear that to believe it. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
iAstroLeo 14,424
Nobody knows what LG5 is. For all we know, it can Gaga's solo jazz album :rip: :Bye:

You don't hire that kind of guys if you want genric pop / EDM album. If you want this you just have to call Max Martin, Dr. Luke or Stargate.

Whispering 18,865
We have no idea what type of album Gaga will end up with or which songs from which producers will even make the album. We also have no idea what the "trend" will be this time next year. Even then, songs and albums that don't fit the current trend succeed...and songs and albums that are following the current trend fail. There is no way to predict any of this at this point and it's doesn't help anything to worry about it!
PMKKARDASHiAN 8,570
I'm praying this "disco" album is just gaga fans being, well, gaga fans. I have faith in gaga/redone that they will stay away from disco bs and do something more creative.
Chump 1,093
It's not like only one genre may be popular at one time. Adele somehow manages to co-exist with RnB. And Gaga can do it too cause she's talented, and talent always matters
Naufri 7,424
Random Access Memory didn't set a trend, like others here said I think Disco/70s are starting a comeback, not fading, not only in music I think.
Enhsa 2,043
disco album will smash it
Felicia 124
Anything that has a big build-up (with leaks, teasers, etc.) and is egregiously over-hyped (in such a way that it gives all of these little looney tunes in her fan base a chance to spew stupidity and engage in endless imbecilic speculation) would qualify as a mistake. The jury is still out on LG5. We shall see what we shall see. You can't ignore your lessons even after you become a star
